DeLong Designs was started as an outlet for my creative energy! I began painting silk scarves over a year ago to give as presents and I just couldn't stop! The designs and colors pop into my head at all times and I have to put them onto silk to see how they will work. This makes it hard for me to make the same design/color combination twice, since I'm always trying something new! But that just makes each item more unique!

If a scarf design you like has been sold I can try to duplicate the pattern, adding your color preferences, but it will turn out different than the one shown - that's the nature of silk painting! If you would prefer to see a photo of the actual scarf I can email one before I ship to you.

Another passion of mine is recycling and reducing waste. I scour second-hand stores and flea markets looking for items to jazz-up (mostly glassware), giving them a new lease on life! From time to time I will add these items to my store - you'll have to check back often to see what new treasures I've uncovered!

Shipping Information:

Orders will be filled promptly as inventory allows. Special orders may take up to a week to ship due to the time constraints of the dyeing process itself. If an item is out of stock, I will notify you by email as to timing and to ask whether you would like an email confirmation photo of the item.

Refund, Returns and Cancellation Policies:

If the item does not meet your expectations, you may return it for a refund of your purchase price minus the shipping fees. If we ship the wrong item, the full purchase price will be refunded including shipping.
